The chemical industrial park’s operating company, InfraServ Knapsack, offers customers flexible solutions for their property and building requirements. A framework leasing agreement regulates the utilization of buildings with the production companies on-site. Different models can be applied.

 

There are rental business relationships, whereby customers rent space that is owned by InfraServ Knapsack. There are also leasing contracts that stipulate that the production companies are not only responsible for the upkeep of a plant, but also for the building itself as well as building lease agreements, in which the company is also the owner of a building.

 

Other contracting models are also in high demand. Clariant’s flame retardant production plant for example was pre-financed by InfraServ Knapsack. Clariant is bound by contract to settle the investment costs by way of its running operations. Models of this type conserve customers’ budgets and ease investment decisions.
